IT was celebrations all round at Great Sankey Primary School as winners of the December photo competition and the overall winner for 2010 were announced.
Scooping the final prize of the year with the theme of celebrations was Tom Welding, aged 10, who arranged an outdoor Christmas dinner in the snow on a garden table.
His winning picture was then entered alongside 11 other monthly winners battling for the title of photo of the year.
Lauren Mountain, aged 12, picked up first prize with a picture of a bird landing and won a camera while Rebekkah Quarrie, , and Katelyn Christopher, both aged 11, also won cameras as runners-up.
Karin Quarrie, who has organised the competition, said: “Many thanks to Barry Jones at Unitec Communications Ltd once again for his generous prizes.”
The competition starts again this month with the theme of bridges.
