A NEW restaurant serving authentic Thai food is opening in Warrington town centre tomorrow, Friday.

Krapow Thai Restaurant is owned by couple Phil Williams and Chanisara Glanville, who is better known as Nok.

Nok, who is head chef, moved to England from Thailand back in 2008 and she has been based in Warrington for more than 10 years now. While Phil grew up in Woolston.

Warrington Guardian:

The couple owned Krua Thai which was based in Warrington Market for seven years, but they wanted to expand the business so decided to close the Time Square stall and open their own space at The Hive.

Now, the business is ‘bigger and better’ than ever.

Warrington Guardian:

It has kept its popular menu, which includes the likes of pad Thai, papaya salad, and Thai green curry, but added more dishes and now there is also lunch and evening menu.

And they also now have their own bar inside the venue.

All food is cooked fresh and there are vegan and gluten free options.

Warrington Guardian:

Phil and Nok are even happy to serve dishes that aren’t on the menu where possible.

After 18 months of work and construction, Krapow Thai Restaurant is ready to open its doors tomorrow, Friday, from 12pm.

Warrington Guardian:

You can find it inside The Hive on Sankey Street.
