SEVEN mid Cheshire players have been called up by the county.
Cheshire take on Shropshire in Section Three of the Endsleigh Senior County Championships hoping to bounce back from their opening match defeat to Yorkshire.
Wharton Cons' Glynn Cookson is the only local bowler in the home team, who this time will play at Stockport's Nursery.
The away leg, at Pontesbury BC, sees Castle Private duo Jason Cornes and John Gurney feature alongside Rob Winnington (Frodsham Red Lion) and Tom Vickers (Wharton Cons) in the starting line up.
Mid Cheshire trio Jim Harrop (Wharton Cons), Mark Vernon (Wharton Cons) and Andy Hamman (Castle Private) are on standby.
Cheshire face Shropshire on Sunday, June 1.
