Weston remain top of Division Two despite losing their first game of the season.
If Raj Kumar doesn't make a century, they struggle and it proved the case at Norton.
When the pro went for 36, Weston were left on 68-3 and quickly crumbled to 97-8.
Joe Gates (26) and Simon Barratt's (21no) gusty ninth-wicket stand got them up towards 149.
But it was nowhere near enough, Tony Dutton leading Norton to a eight-wicket win with an unbeaten 101.
