PREMIER Darts pacemakers Pioneers Club beat hosts Rockwood 5-3 to keep eight points clear of Delamere Arms who won 6-2 at Vine A and also have a match in hand.
Third placed Raven A are six points further back after overturning a 3-1 deficit to draw at winless Commercial, who have had an appalling start to the season. Needless to say the top performers were from the Pioneers with Pete Boughey winning in 15 and 19 darts and Pete Galloway and Ricky Busteed hitting respective 15 and 18 dart legs.
Joey Reade (Vine A) hit a 17 darter, Robbie Arrowsmith (Delamere) won in 18 and 19 darts and teammate Steve Hassall with a 128 checkout to an 18 darter. Cliff Williams (Horse Shoe) included a 180 in his 19 dart leg. Teammate Bobby Baynham hit a 110 checkout and further 180's came from Rob Paine (Delamere) and Andy Sinclair (Rockwood).
Division One Darts pacemakers Nantwich Road ASLEF celebrated their first match at their new base by whitewashing North Ward B.
In second place are promoted Cheshire Cheese who lost the first two games in their 6-2 defeat of British Lion A.
ASLEF duo Cliff Davison and Ron Threadgold hit 17 dart legs and Lee Cooper (Cheese) and Shaun Done (Golf Club) respective 18 and 19 darters. Maximum 180's were hit by Steve Thelwell (ASLEF), Gary Jones (Amals B), Steve Butler (Hawk) and Ben Barnes (Golf Club).
Home teams had a very thin time of it in Division Two Darts with none managing a win.
Toppers LMR Sports Club B made it six wins from six by defeating fellow promoted hosts White Lion (Copp) B 6-2 and are eight points ahead of new second placed team Cosey Club, who replaced hosts British Lion B after hammering them 7-1.
Crown move up a place to third after also hitting seven across the bridge at Kings Arms A.
Dave Bickerton and Shaun Wilkinson (LMR B) won their pairs game in 24 darts at 29.2 PDA, Dave completing the game with a 121 finish on the bull.
Leaders North Ward A beat Vine C 6-2, but have been joined on points in Division Three Darts by Captain Webb A who trounced Liberal Club 7-1.
Third placed Flying Lady B kept in contention by also hitting seven at lowly Cumberland B.
Division Four Darts leaders Cross Keys had their bye week and have been joined by Sydney Arms, 5-3 victors over Grand Junction, who have now played one match more.
Third placed Captain Webb B beat White Lion (Copp) A 5-3 to stay just two points behind.
Jay Paine (Junction) won in 19 darts.
Leaders Imperial beat Royal Scot 5-3 who have returned home'.
So second placed West End Band Club reduced their points deficit to one in Division Five Darts with a 6-2 win at White Lion Ford Lane.
Walter Boote (Imperial) won in 20 darts and Allan Bostock (White Lion Ford Lane) with a 111 checkout.
Premier Dominoes leaders Pioneers Club suffered their first defeat, 5-3 at Rockwood, who take over second spot from Flying Lady A who had a bye.
Pacemakers Amalgamated B remain 100% in Division One Dominoes after beating bottom team Woodside 5-3.
Their main rivals Hawk and Dishers swapping places after Hawk's 5-3 win.
It's very close in Division Two Dominoes with just seven points covering the top eight teams.
Bridge A take over top spot, despite enduring a scrambled draw with third placed Coppenhall Leighton, with deposed leaders Kings Arms A second after losing 6-2 to Crown.
Division 3 Dominoes leaders Liberal Club beat Captain Webb A 6-2 to go three points up on Cumberland B who saw off Flying Lady B 5-3.
Third placed LMR Sports A are four points adrift after drawing with Cumberland A.
It is also very competitive in Division Four Dominoes with six points covering all but bottom team Captain Webb B.
Bridge C lead the way on matches won after drawing at second placed Prince of Wales B.
Third placed Sydney Arms overturned a 3-1 deficit to draw with Grand Junction.
Deposed leaders Cross Keys had a bye and drop to fifth.
Division Five Dominoes top pair West End Band Club and White Lion Ford Lane drew their clash.
That means third team Old Oddfellows have managed to close the gap slightly by beating Prince of Wales A 5-3.
