A SUCCESSFUL clear-up operation around the stadium and the undersoil heating leaves Warrington Wolves' clash with Hull FC almost going ahead at 3pm as planned.
What an extreme turn around for Warrington Wolves.
Eight days ago, they came to the end of three weeks of summer-climate training in Australia with a clash against South Sydney Rabbitohs in temperatures around the mid-20s.
The thermometer is not much above freezing on Humberside and the players as well as the travelling fans were greeted by a couple of inches of snow as they made the journey through the city of Hull to the stadium earlier this afternoon.
