BRADFORD Bulls coach Steve McNamara says Warrington Wolves are all set for a good year and has commented on the club’s squad strength ahead of Saturday night’s clash between the teams at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
“They’ve done very well in terms of recruitment, players and staff,” he said.
“They are packed with extremely good players, they’ve got some real financial clout behind them from the owner and they’ve got all the ingredients in place to do well and they’ve started in that fashion.”
He added: “You look through the pack, they’ve got two international front-rowers, an English international second row, a New Zealand international second row and a young loose forward in Ben Harrison who’s been in the train-on squad.
“They’ve got a couple of hookers in Mickey Higham and Michael Monaghan, one international and one established NRL star.
“But you can go through the entire squad.
“They’ve got a lot of talent at half back, with two players at the opposite end of their careers, and then the likes of Matt King and Ryan Atkins.
“They’ve done extremely well to fit all those people in.”
