WELSH winger Rhys Williams has his eyes on a place in next year’s Wolves Super League squad after making his debut at the weekend.
The 20-year-old former Llanelli Scarlets player from Mold, pictured left, came off the bench against Crusaders on Sunday after being called up two days earlier in the wake of backs Lee Briers, Richie Myler and Richie Mathers being injured.
He is currently on an under 20s full-time contract with the club.
“I want to build on this,” he said.
“I want to try to cement a spot for next year - that has to be my goal.”
Williams, released by Scarlets at 18, was the last signing made for Wolves in Paul Cullen’s era.
