TENSION is growing as Warrington Wolves await news of who they will be playing in the fourth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.

Wolves could be paired against a fellow Super League side, a Championship club or an amateur side in tonight’s draw.

All 14 Super League clubs enter the competition at this stage, together with all the third round winners - including amateurs Siddal, the giant-killers of the weekend after their 26-0 win away to Co-operative One team Doncaster.

One third-round tie is yet to be played, with Widnes Vikings’ clash with Wigan St Judes taking place tomorrow after a frozen Stobarts Stadium pitch ruled out the weekend’s clash.

Conference side Warrington Wizards miss out after a 34-22 home loss to professionals Swinton Lions at Wilderspool on Friday night.

There are four possible ties with French clubs - Super League rivals Catalans Dragons as well as Toulouse Olympique, Limoux and Lezignan.

All together, Wolves have 13 chances of facing Super League opposition, 10 possible Championship opponents, five possible Co-operative One match-ups and two potential French League opponents.
