WOLVES head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said centre Toby King is "almost certain" to miss Saturday's game against Wakefield.
The 20-year-old has suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury in training after scoring his first try of 2017 in Monday's 26-24 win over Huddersfield.
King initially suffered the injury on the opening day of the season at Catalans but returned to face St Helens on March 24.
However, on the other hand, Smith also confirmed Ryan Atkins, Matty Russell, Kevin Brown and Joe Westerman would all return for Saturday's game.
Atkins, Russell and Brown have all been suffering from head injuries, while Westerman picked up a neck injury in the 25-14 win over Leeds.
