IRELAND international Tyrone McCarthy, the Warrington-born ex-Wolves back rower, skippered Illawarra Cutters to Grand Final glory at the weekend with a torn quadricep.
The 28-year-old, defeated Hull KR captain in the 2015 Challenge Cup Final, has spent the year with NRL outfit St George Illawarra Dragons and led their feeder club to the Intrust Super Premiership with a 21-20 victory over minor premiers Mounties.
