THE fate of Hull Kingston Rovers could be sealed this weekend if they do not beat Wolves on Friday night.

Should Tony Smith’s men come away from the KC Lightstream Stadium with a victory, Rovers would be consigned to the Middle Eights if Castleford and Widnes win their games at Salford and Leeds respectively.

This will grind the gears of the Robins fans, especially as they watch deadly cross-city rivals Hull FC enjoy a stellar campaign.

Hull KR enjoyed a week off while others were in Challenge Cup action last weekend, meaning coach James Webster may have some of his injured players back for Friday.

However, one of those returnees will not be skipper Terry Campese.

The half-back, whose partnership with Albert Kelly is among the most potent in Super League when on form, will miss the rest of the season with another hamstring injury.

A similar ailment put a premature end to his debut season in England and also allowed him to play just five times this campaign.

Ken Sio and Ben Cockayne will be dangerous adversaries in the backs, while prop James Green has been attracting admiring glances for his form this season.

Hull KR 19-man squad: Mitch Allgood, Maurice Blair, John Boudebza, Chris Clarkson, Ben Cockayne, James Donaldson, James Green, Graeme Horne, Albert Kelly, Kevin Larroyer, George Lawler, Shaun Lunt, Thomas Minns, Robbie Mulhern, Ken Sio, Iain Thornley, Dane Tilse, Adam Walker, Joe Wardill.
