WOLVES will turn to young blood for Friday's trip to Hull Kingston Rovers, where they will be without Kurt Gidley and Ryan Atkins.

Gidley misses the Super League game at Craven Park with a hamstring injury and his place at half back is due to be taken up by Dec Patton.

The 21-year-old Academy product has recently returned to the club's reserves team after recovering from knee surgery.

His only first-team appearance of the season so far came off the bench in the Easter Monday loss to Hull FC at the KC Stadium.

Toby King, 19, will return to the side at left centre, the position vacated by Ryan Atkins due to a one-match suspension.

Wolves will still be without prop Ashton Sims as he serves the last game of his two-match ban gained in the narrow win against Catalans Dragons on June 17.
