A VOCAL teacher from Northwich is hoping to use her voice to raise money for charity.
Sally Garozzo, owner of The Vocal Academy, has created a CD called The Essence Of Solitude and has decided to give 30 per cent of profits to Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare.
She said: "My parents were in the Salvation Army so I was brought up with charity work.
"I believe that if you donate 10 per cent to charity then you will get it back in some way or other."
Sally qualified from the London College of Music before moving to Northwich to start her own business.
She now hopes her latest venture will help the community as well as her own career.
She said: "I love doing what I do and I just wanted to help other people as well.
"I would describe the CD as Evanescence meets Kate Bush with a bit of Steely Dan.
"Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare is a charity that is close to my heart because they do a fantastic job and deserve all they support people can give them.
"Hopefully the money I make from this CD will make a difference."
Sally is also delighted with the success she has enjoyed with The Vocal Academy since setting up in August last year.
She said: "It has been amazing and I now have a lot of students who are developing fantastically well.
"I am also teaching at Mid Cheshire College so everything is going brilliantly.
"My partner set up extraplay.com where artists can have their music downloaded and help charity as well so we are doing all we can."
