CREWE students have helped to officially open a newly revamped store at the university campus.

MMU Cheshire second-year students Steven Pearson and Jemma Collins cut the ribbon on new-look Co-Op store, helped by shop manager Brian Parker.

The store has been transformed following a £150,000 revamp.

Mr Parker said: "We are a community retailer located on the campus of the university so we are delighted that the students could play a central role in the launch of our new look store."
