Canal group plans first meeting

An inaugural meeting to set up a "Friends of the Bridgewater Canal, Sale" group will be held at the Visitor Centre, Sale Water Park, on Tuesday, 27 May, at 7.30 pm.
This will be a hands-on group devoted in the first instance to keeping the banks of the canal clear of litter; indeed, to "Keeping Your Bridgewater Beautiful". All welcome. If you are interested but cannot attend the meeting, please contact Dave Sykes (Trafford Parks Development Officer) on 912 5599.
