THE final day of a controversial public inquiry will be held tomorrow, Thursday.
As already reported in the Warrington Guardian, developer Biffa wants to extend Risley tip and keep it open for longer.
But residents say it will increase the environmental problems those living in the area are already suffering.
And they have told the inquiry, which has been sitting for two weeks at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, that the tip would merely be taking waste from Manchester and Liverpool.
The decision from the public inquiry is likely to be published later in the year.
