Man critical after Weaverham beating

A MAN subjected to a severe beating under a disused railway bridge in Weaverham is still in a critical condition.

Paul Taylor, 33, who lives in Weaverham was attacked under the bridge in Northwich Road with his friend Chris, 28, who is currently homeless.

Mr Taylor was left with life-threatening head injuries and his friend sustained minor head injuries after the incident.

Mr Taylor is being kept under sedation at North Staffordshire hospital where his condition is still critical.

Six men were arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
