It was absolutley fantastic to see Northwich so alive and full. What a wonderful carnival feel there was! Can't wait until next year!!!!

Carnival feel there might have been, but why do we have to put up with idiots from outside the area using our local roads as race tracks before and after the event? I was overtaken on the A49 by a convoy of 8 bikes that must have been doing at least 90mph heading up towards Acton Bridge. One year someone's going to get killed...

I have to agree with Anonymous from Northwich, the roads around the area inparticular the A556, A49 and A54 were packed with speeding maniacs pulling dangerous stunts with no regard for life.

Ther were NO POLICE on any of the afore mentioned roads all weekend, not even to act as a deterrant, until there was an accident later on yesterday.

Please can Cheshire Constabulary patrol come out and show themselves and to enforce speed limits, that way they might not have to drive at high speed to the carnage caused by these speedfreaks!

Dave, congratulations on being the only person willing to write in with something to say apart from moaning. I take it you were on the a556, a49 and a54 all at the same time were you Ricardo?? maybe the police should be as magic as you!

Someone will always moan when they see people having a good time.As for some bikers doing 90 mph,did this moaner have them clocked or is he just one of those sunday drivers who go around causing bikers to have accidents by turning out in front of them and then claiming"I didnt see him coming"Stop moaning go and enjoy the event or stay at home and mow the lawn with your low powered lawn mower.

"did this moaner have them clocked or is he just one of those sunday drivers"

No, I was doing 60 on the Weaverham bypass. I've been caught speeding myself in the distant past, on a motorway, so I can judge what 90+ looks like.

I got overtaken on Chesterway on Monday evening (6:30pm) by some tit doing 50mph+, who pulled a wheelie for 20 yards past the Magistrates Court - no doubt showing off tricks that he'd seen his "heroes" or another bunch of muppets doing on Sunday...

The police seem to like easy targets, they could have handed out fixed penalty notices to bikers like confetti over the past week if they could have been bothered. Oh, but that's right, 18% increase on the Council Tax for policing, and they're still useless...
