UPDATE- A 33-YEAR-OLD man has been left with life threatening head injuries and a 28-year-old man with minor injuries after a serious assault in Weaverham.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning near Northwich Road on a disused railway line. Both men are being treated in hospital.
A 20-year-old male and three other men in their late teens to early twenties are in custody helping police with their enquiries.
