A FLIXTON resident is accusing recycling collectors of giving him a rubbish service last week.
For David Garside claims that they not only failed to collect a bundle of papers he left out for collection - but dumped them in his bin.
Mr Garside, of Merwell Road, said his neighbour's papers were also put in her bin.
He said "This is disgusting. It puts you off recycling. What is the point of recycling if they are going to do this?
"They took my bottles and tins, but put all the papers in the black bin."
Gary Taylor, Trafford's waste manager, said: "We apologise to Mr Garside for the failure of the kerbside recycling service for paper on this occasion and for any inconvenience.

"Our refuse and recycling contractor, Veolia Environmental Services, has also sent a written apology.
"Steps will be taken to prevent this incident recurring and we hope that Mr Garside will continue to use the kerbside recycling service in the future."
