A SHOPKEEPER wants to help the town stage more events like the Knutsford Royal May Day Festival.

Sara Hoodfar, who owns Cherry Tree Gallery in King Street, said businesses should work together to create more family days out in the town.

"We could have craft markets," she said.

She said summer festivals would benefit town centre businesses by bringing more people into the town.
