POLICE have found the body of a man in the Bridgewater Canal in Stockton Heath.
They were called to the scene near to the London Bridge pub around 8.45pm yesterday, Saturday to find the body of a 65-year-old.
A spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious and that enquiries are continuing.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that an inquest has not yet been opened.
