POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a unprovoked attack which left a man with a fractured cheekbone and bruising to the head.
At around 1.30am on Saturday February 4, a 33-year-old man was attacked by three men on the grassed area between Knutsford Road and Hunts Lane, Grappenhall.
He was beaten to the ground and kicked repeatedly, before the men ran off.
PC Lara Emmerson, of Warrington South Neighbourhood Policing Unit, described the attack as ‘sudden and violent’.
Anyone with information can call Cheshire Police on 101.

I am slowly coming to realise just how many low life scumbags there are in this town, Over the last few weeks its been the same thing over and over again. Attacks, Muggings, Robbery, We pay our protection money element of the council tax but dont get any, Police numbers are getting less and less, No jobs for todays youth and no dole for them if they dont (work) on back to work courses when there are no jobs so they turn to crime. Too many eastern europeans are taking all the jobs for less money.
