ALMOST £9million has been awarded to an organisation responsible for creating business growth in Cheshire and Warrington.
The Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership has been awarded £8.9m from Government - with the cash intended to stimulate growth in the economy.
Christine Gaskell, chairman of the Cheshire and Warrington LEP, said: “This award puts business people from Cheshire and Warrington at the heart of deciding how to boost our economy.
“We have worked hard to establish real credibility with government and this award proves that we have their trust and confidence.
“We are already working with our partners in the private and public sectors and have some great development opportunities to consider.”
