THE walk-in centre on Sankey Street could be closed with residents asked to give their thoughts on whether it should be saved.
NHS Warrington has reviewed the health centre and now it wants to hear from patients.
Joanne Forrest, managing director of NHS Warrington, said: βA review of the service has identified that whilst it does offer an excellent service, the actual running costs for the small number of people registered far exceeds what is the average cost for such a service.
βAt present there is ample capacity across other practices in the town which can provide primary care services to patients.β
