Police looking for witnesses after bar attack

DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in a town centre bar.

The 19-year-old man was punched by another male and suffered an injury to the pallet of his mouth which required stitches in the Reef Bar, Bridge Street on August 22.

The offender and his friends were ejected from the premises by staff through the rear door at about 4am.

He has been described as a white man, aged in his early 20s, of stocky muscular build, with short brown hair, wearing a blue round necked top.

Anyone with information that could assist police should contact PC McClatchey at Warrington Police on 0845 458 0000 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The man received treatment in the bar instead of being taken to the hospital for treatment or was it the Reef Bar that required stitches?
