PATIENTS at Warrington Hospital soaked up the atmosphere of the Wolves’ winning weekend after the in-house radio station broadcast its first ever live Carnegie Challenge Cup final match commentary.

The big day started at 10am with Kevin Farrell talking to Wolves supporters on the way to Wembley.

The build-up started at midday with an extended Saturday Sport programme presented by Mark Snowdon and David Quinn. At 2.30pm it was over to commentators David Parkinson and Adrian Jackson live from Wembley. The team’s homecoming was covered on Sunday with a three-hour Out and About programme broadcast live from the Town Hall.
