GET behind troops from Cheshire and dig deep to help soldiers at a bag pack event.
Soldiers from The 1st Battalion, The Mercian Regiment, which recruits in Cheshire, will be packing customers’ shopping at Tesco, on Winwick Road, on Saturday.
Private Tom Sephton, from Great Sankey, who died on July 5, following an explosion in Afghanistan, was a member of the regiment.
Warrington dignitaries and Wolves players are invited to get stuck in with the packing.
Packing will start at around 10am and will last for six hours.
The hard work of the troops will be paid off with tickets for the Wolves verses Saints Super League game on Saturday night, courtesy of Warrington Wolves.
