TALENTED youngsters performed in London's West End on Sunday in a specially adapted version of Billy Elliot.

CODYS Productions, based in Warrington, was one of 14 groups chosen to perform at the Victoria Palace Theatre as part of new initiative, the Billy Youth Theatre West End Gala.

The gala was launched in November and has since given more than 5,000 young performers aged between 10 and 19 the chance to stage their own productions of Billy Elliot.

Adapted by Billy Elliot The Musical's writer Lee Hall and Martin Koch from Musical Supervision and Orchestrations, the script was performed to a 1,500-strong audience on Sunday.
