THE Stocks are set to headline WA1 this Friday July 15, supported by Liverpool's We See Foxes.

The indie-rock band, who cite their influences as the 22-20s, Supergrass, the Beatles, BRMC and the Stone Roses, are a group of 16 to 17-year-olds from Priestley College.

The four-piece comprises of vocalist and guitarist Luke Scott, Matt Johnson on guitar, bassist Kevin Nickson and drummer Tom Lowe.

Former Birchwood High students.

The Stocks have been together for around a year and have played gigs at the Pyramid, the Cavern in Liverpool and WA1, and in June, represented Warrington at Amplifier's Cheshire Outdoor Band Showcase.

Support act We See Foxes will be playing in Warrington for the first time on Friday, with entry £2 and doors to open at 8pm.

On Saturday, The Energy will support OddShapedHead, a signed band from Newcastle.
