LYMM Freemasons has donated two top-of-the-range vacuum cleaners to St Luke's Hospice in Winsford.
The group raised the money after one of their members, brother Roland White, was taken into the hospice as a day patient.
The group's grand lodge officer and worshipful brother Kenneth Hepworth celebrated 50 years of masonry last month, and on the evening the group raised about £500.
