SPORTING achievements were recognised during Warrington MENCAP's learning disability week.
Jonathon Pritchard was presented with the trophy for being the bowls champion for 2005, while other certificates were presented for activities including bowls, boccia, dominoes and darts.
The football team, which is based at Sankey Forum Disabled Sports Club, did well in a competition and travelled to the next stage at Leeds Goal Centre, where they missed out on a place in the finals.
