I AM writing to thank all who worked so very hard on Saturday, to put on a grand gala for the 60th anniversary of VE Day.
It was great to see all the children have such fun.
All of the children got a lunch box, there was a clown on all day, a bouncy castle, a band, fancy dress and all the children were given the same prize, pop and crisps, small toys were coming round all day.
Those children had a wonderful day and we did.
To all, thanks for the hard work of Penketh and Sankey Royal British Legion.
You did all those children proud and it was all free.
