TALENTED young dancer Kimberley Woolridge has been given the stamp of approval by Post Office workers in Crewe.
Kimberley, aged 11, from Crewe has won a place at London's prestigious Royal Ballet School.
And to help her on her way workers at the sorting office, where her mum Yvonne works in the staff restaurant, have been raising money towards the fees.
Kimberley has been dancing since she was three and beat thousands of others for a place at the Royal Ballet School after a two-day audition.
Post office workers, led by Maureen Stockton, have been holding raffles and collections to raise the £2,000 needed for one year's fees.
And Royal Mail stamps has donated money to the fund after Kimberley was picked to publicise its latest line of special stamps showing her heroine Margot Fonteyn.
"We started off the fund-raising by writing to firms asking for help and we got nowhere," said Maureen.
"So we went round shops and confronted people face to face with letters explaining what we were doing for Kimberley and we did very well out of that."
"I was very pleased when they started raising money," said Kimberley's mum Yvonne. "It's been great."
