I WOULD like to publicly thank a team of young people who have spent four days at St. Rocco's Hospice and have made such a difference to the working environment for the nursing staff.
They are the Prince's Trust team who chose the hospice as a project and refurbished two rooms for us.
They provided the materials with the help of local businesses, planned the project and did all the work themselves.
While in the hospice they were polite, helpful and, if anything, inconspicuous. Absolutely marvellous!
With so much criticism about young people today I would dearly like to thank this group of youngsters and their project leaders and give them a well-earned pat on the back. BETH ECCLES, Nurse Manager, St. Rocco's Hospice.
