THE second round of the JE White Trophy took centre stage in the Sunday Soccer League programme.

Division Two's Pierpoint and Bryant took the scoring honours in their 12-1 demolition of Division Five's Insall Rangers. Mickey Pitts led the way with a super seven. Other goals came from Rob Shaw, Mark Harris, Mark Melvin, Gavin Harper and Jason Waldron.

Premier Division's Whiston Carrs crushed Grapes 9-1 with Alan Hughes notching four, Gary Moore 2, Lee Riley, Paul Burke and Gary McEvoy making it nine.

Spenners Royal won 7-1 at Dog and Partridge. Two goals apiece here for Gareth Delooze, Dale Jackson and Shaun Corrigan. Gary Molyneux added a seventh.

Broomfields defeated Grappenhall Youth 6-1 with Phil Perkins scoring a hat-trick. There was one goal each for Chris Charnley, Suresh Patel and Dave Smith.

Greenwood OB won 5-2 at Woolston OB. Danny Gallop 2, Mike Prescott 2, and Tony Burgess all netted for Greenwood. Howley Hotel raced into a 4-0 half-time lead against Blackburne Arms with goals from Jason Hope, Wayne Aspinall, John Allen and Tony Taylor. They settled for a 4-2 result.

Butchers Arms, with doubles from John Turner and Alan Blair, beat Latchford Railway 4-2.

Premier Division Beeches won 4-0 at Tully Park Rangers thanks to goals from Alan Hockenhull 2, Carl Nield and Darren Young. Penketh and Sankey beat Causeway 3-1 with Lenny Turner, Ian Ferris and Mike Preidt hitting the target.

Community House won 3-2 at Old Ball. Gary Heath, John McCall and Mark Williamson scored. Nelson QD, with goals from Darren Unsworth, Paul Woods and Lee Breakwell, defeated North Cheshire Celtic 3-2.

Ring O' Bells triumphed 2-1 over Sumner Street. John Doyle and John James scored for Bells while Mark Brady got a consolation for Premier Division Sumner Street.

Division Three's Trust Holt had a 2-1 win at Premier Division Wanderers. A double from Jon Griffiths saw Trust Holt safely through to the last 32.
