A MARATHON 26-mile run through London's streets by Newton shop manager Beryl Grady and her friend, Eileen Conway, raised £1,538.20 in sponsorship for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Beryl, manager of Frank Howard & Sons in High Street, Newton and her running partner, Eileen, presented their cheque to grateful Macmillan staff this week.
Beryl said: "We would like to thank friends, relations, colleagues and customers at Frank Howard's for their help in raising this money."
