GENEROUS staff from Warrington Collegiate Institute are nursing their saddle sores after an arduous charity cycle ride.
The team tackled a trek from John O'Groats to the Winwick Road campus and raised almost £3,000 for the Macmillan Nurses Appeal. The 545 mile journey took seven days to complete, covering up to 80 miles per day.
Members asked for sponsorship and also organised a bring and buy sale to raise the money.
