HARTFORD Tennis Club secured its second title of the year with a draw against Nantwich on Sunday.
The first team's single point ensured their arch rivals could not catch them in the Mid and South Cheshire League.
Captain Andrew Moores said: "This is a real boost ahead of the summer league, which is the one everybody wants.
"We've been consistently good through the winter and have got the reward we deserve."
The first team's win follows the B Team's success in their winter league cup last week.
Hartford A's match on Sunday was a close encounter between two of the leading clubs in the area.
During a strange season - which has seen two clubs withdraw from the competition - Hartford have consistently turned out the same players.
But on Sunday club chairman Dave Glenn was asked to step in and did well against strong opposition.
Top player Gareth Eaton partnered Glenn and Graham Honeybone linked up with Moores.
At halftime the score was 2-2 and the final result was 4-4 as nothing could split the sides.
Hartford A compete in the knockout cup final in two weeks.
