WIDS ran in 10 tries against a spirited Ormskirk who scored the first try before the Wids woke up and started to play with commitment.

Chris McLoughlin, Michael Ostick and Sean Dalby did most of the damage up front with penetrating runs through the visitor's defence and it was only time before the pressure told.

Try scorers were Martin Leather (3), Neal Liu (2), Liam Morton, Dalby, Ostick, Danny Woods and Craig Nelson.

Try of the match for the Wids was Liu's second when he beat two defenders then kicked over the top to re-gather and score under the posts.

Next week, Wids travel to the Wirral 12-a-side competition, while three of the players are on county duty playing for Lancashire B against Yorkshire B at Heath Road (kick-off 1pm).
