MOORE Rangers FC u14s this week donated two of their old football kits to special schools in Halton.
Club chairman, Laurence Berryman, presented the home and away kits to pupils from Ashley School, in Widnes, and Cavendish School, in Runcorn, on Monday.
It follows the Rangers successfully obtaining funding from the Runcorn Sports Trust and the Sports Development Grant.
And, as a thank you, staff and coaches decided to assist others in the community by donating their old football kits to two schools that actively promote and provide sporting facilities for their pupils.
The Sports Development Grants are now available for 2003. Forms are available from Halton Council and for more information contact sports development officer, Jane Rhodes, on 0151-424 2061 ext 4058.
