DIVERSE rockers Baaja will be performing at the Cats Bar in Middlewich this week.
The three-piece, made up of Dave Speakman (guitar and vocals), Gareth Hughes (drums) and Trent Nixon (bass), will be displaying their unique sound at the bar on Friday, March 28.
Baaja's influences originate from a diverse variety of music incorporating blues, fusion and funk, rock, jazz, Latin styles into their live set and they believe in the use of improvisation within the live set to add variety.
The group puts its main focus on gigging - having played at such places as The Dance House Caf in Manchester, Winnington Rec, de bees in Winsford and in the Triangle in Manchester live on BBC Commonwealth Radio - but they have spent time in the studio as well.
