General Chemicals Res 1 Tricorn 6
IT took 30 minutes for Tricorn to break the deadlock in their South Wirral League fixture through a deflected Paul Dwyer shot. Mark Connor soon added the second with a far post header from a delightful Dwyer cross.
The home side pulled one back with a good header before the break.
On the hour, Mark Dwyer latched onto a through ball from man of the match Tony Lunt to coolly finish. Then a short corner between Dwyer and Lunt saw the latter cross for Jeff Tan to score a terrific diving header.
Lunt was again involved in the fifth, finding Karl Thomas after a defence-splitting dummy from Carl Meharry. Quick feet from Thomas found Paul Gumbs for a tap in.
The sixth was from a 60-yard diagonal pass from Albie Wilcox. Gumbs side-footed a volley from the corner of the box over the keeper.
