Widnes Moorfield U8s 24
Thatto Heath U8s 4
EVERY Moorfield player should take great pride in their achievements this year shows how much they have progressed.
Joint opposition man of the match went to Lewis Scott and Daniel Richardson who led the way in attack and looked dangerous whenever they had the ball.
However, it was Thatto who took an early lead going in on the first set of six. Moorfield responded when Scott and Richardson combined, the away side had no answer.
Captain Liam Murnane led the side well earning parents' man of the match jointly with David Richardson who never stopped working in defence and attack.
Dylan Bennett, Kyle Gleavey, Jacob Towns, Jonathan Townsend and Elliot Dennett all drove the ball in brilliantly and Liam Davies worked hard in defence and from acting half.
Lewis Scott (4) and Daniel Richardson (2) scored the tries but the whole team were involved.
