THE funeral has taken place of Alex Stuart Cookson, of Hartford Road, Davenham, following his death on March 3, aged 19.
Alex attended Davenham CE Primary School and completed his studies at The County High School, Leftwich.
On leaving school he took an engineering course at Mid Cheshire College before taking employment at Charles Barber and Sons in Northwich, where he worked as a car salesman.
In his spare time Alex enjoyed football and trained at Sir John Deane's College and Rudheath Leisure Centre.
Beloved son of Deborah and the late Stuart Cookson and dearest brother of Mark, he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
The Rev Geoff Greenhough conducted the service and interment at St Wilfrid's Church, Davenham.
Family, relatives and many friends attended, and floral tributes and donations for the British Heart Foundation were received.
Arrangements were by Pope Funeral Services, Davenham.
