THE funeral has taken place for Beatrice Mary Finlay, of Rudheath, who died on February 28, aged 91.
Known as Molly she was born in Lostock, one of a family of five children to the late Lucy and Bill Dimelow. She was brought up in Lostock where she attended school.
Molly married William Norman Finlay in 1932. They settled in Lostock. Sadly she was widowed in 1943. Molly lived at Hayhurst Close in Northwich, then at Heathbrook in Rudheath.
She loved baking for her family, going on holiday and her involvement with Age Concern.
Molly leaves four daughters and two sons, 22 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
The service, attended by relatives and friends, was at Lostock Parish Church prior to interment in the churchyard and was conducted by the Rev Harry Stratton.
In addition to floral tributes, donations were received for St Luke's Hospice.
Arrangements were by George Bell Funeral Service, Northwich.
