WARRINGTON and Halton Hospitals Charitable Fund is holding a bucket collection at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday.
The fund aims to collect money for new equipment and services that can not be covered by normal NHS budgets.
It manages donations made by patients and the public and funds are then directed to patients and staff as soon as possible.
Recent successful bids from the fund have included equipment for the breast screening unit and fold-up beds for parents to stay overnight on the children’s wards Donations made on Friday will go directly to the fund and may also be sent by post to North Cheshire Hospitals Charitable Fund, Co/ Finance Department, Kendrick Wing, Warrington Hospital, WA5 1QG For more information email charity@whh.nhs.uk or call 662296.
