Lucianne solves the mystery mad hat for Fairtrade

IT was a mystery straight out of a Lewis Carroll story.

The organisers of Fairtrade Fortnight were trying to track down the designer of this hat fit for a Mad Hatter after it won a competition for the best design.

But thankfully the riddle was solved as it was revealed 10-year-old Lucianne Canavan, from St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, in Woolston had designed the winning hat.

She was reunited with the dazzling headgear at the Fair 4All fairtrade stall at Warrington Market earlier this week.
