THE children and former pupils of a Priestley College tutor joined together to put on a fashion show in her memory.
Deborah Farrington was head of drama, music and dance at Priestley before she died suddenly after a stroke. at the age of 47.
Her son and daughter Rachel and Lewis Rainer, along with friend Eleanor Jones, held the memorial fashion event last Wednesday which raised money for the Circulation Society.
Lewis also sang Beatles song Here Comes the Sun at the event.
Eleanor and Rachel designed many of the outfits on display including a dress made from coke cans.
The clothes were auctioned off at the end of the night with more than £500 being raised and the money is still coming in.
“The janitor wanted us out by 8pm so there are still clothes being sold at the minute because loads of people were interested.
“It was organised chaos but a brilliant night.”
Eleanor also paid tribute to professional make-up artist Rachel Charlton who worked with all of the models who gave their time free.
